1. What is the pay?

The starting pay is very competetive.

We offer annual raise based on experience and performance. 

 

2. Where are the pools?

Premier Aquatics manages pools in Virginia, Maryland and Washington DC.

Pool assignment is based on Lifeguard's housing location.

3. Do I get to choose my pool?

You will have the opportunity to request a pool at the most convenient location for you.

Requests are not guaranteed.

5. Is there room to move up?

Yes, we do offer advancement opportunities to those guards who return from year-to-year.

There are four levels of advancement:

  • First level: Guarding at a multiguard pool (required for 15 year olds)
  • Second level: Pool Manager at a single guard facility
  • Third level: Pool Manager at a multiguard facility 
  • Fourth level: Area Supervisor
6. Are there any incentives available?

Yes. We do have a number of incentives available to those employees who show initiative and remain loyal to the company.

These include:

  • Bonuses for referrals that turn into employees,
  • Early Sign on bonuses,
  • Employee outings,
  • Holiday Bonuses.

7. What if I have a family vacation?

We are happy to work with you to accommodate vacations or other personal plans. We ask that these plans be discussed at the beginning of the season, so we can plan accordingly.

8. What if I get sick or need a day off?

We understand that people do get sick. We do ask that you let us know as early as possible when this happens. Call your supervisor so he or she can make arrangements. If you need a day off, let your supervisor know ahead of time. Schedules are made three weeks ahead of time. If you discover you need a day off after schedules are made, you must find your own substitute.
