2014 CCI Greenheart Conference
The annual CCI Greenheart Work and Travel conference took place in Chicago between the 7th and the 10th of October. Premier Aquatics had a pleasure to participate and share their experience.
The CCI Greaeheart conference is a great opportunity for all Work and Travel Program stakeholders (Sponsor Agency, Overseas Partners, Employers, Department of State and The Alliance) to discuss the year 2014 in retrospect, share experiences and best practices. During the 3 days of the conference we had the pleasure to observe various presentations prepared by CCI staff, The Alliance and Department of State.
The key component of the Work and Travel Program is cultural exchange. Premier Aquatics has been recognized by CCI and Department of State for organizing the first J-Day / PremierGuard Olympics for their employees. During the event participants managed to collect 833 lbs of food for the Capital Food Bank. At the last day of the conference all participants had a chance to volunteer at one of four volunteer organizations located in Chicago. The Premier Aquatics team visited the Salvation Army, where we were able to help cleaning facility premises and prepare bag lunches for homeless citizens of the city.
